Harwoods Limited of Liverpool Gardens, Worthing pleaded guilty to breaching Regulation 7(1) of The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 and have been fined £120,000 and ordered to pay costs of £2,657.55.

Control of substances hazardous to health regulations (also known as COSHH):

Lung Function (Respiratory) Testing at Healthscreen UK Ltd
Healthscreen UK Ltd can provide Lung Function (respiratory) test’s either in our Hinckley, Leicestershire clinic or we are able to travel anywhere in the UK to do the lung function tests on site. The lung function tests are very straight forward and take approximately 10 minutes to complete. The test would be performed by either one of our trained technicians or our in-house nurse.
Before beginning the test, Healthscreen will provide you with a lung function questionnaire which will need to be completed prior to receiving the medical examination. The medical examination consists of a blood pressure test and a lung function test. Please be aware that in some circumstances it is not always possible to complete the respiratory test due to blood pressure-related conditions.
If respiratory conditions are identified, then there is no need to worry because we have an in-house referrals team who are able to help you with the next steps.
A lung function test is extremely important to help detect early damage to your lungs from exposure at work. This is to help prevent accidents at your workplace.
